The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us with all our requests. The food at the local bar was delicious and reasonably priced. The bungalows were impeccably clean and cozy, and the hammock outside was a wonderful touch.

My stay at Maayong was definitely value for money, with a spacious room that still provided privacy with curtains. The common area was big and nice, and I loved that the toilets and shower rooms were separate from the dorms to reduce disturbances. The staff, especially Jane, Grace, and Josephine.
The breakfast offerings could have been better, perhaps with a wider variety of choices. Nevertheless, I had an awesome stay at this amazing little hostel.

My stay at Maayong Hostel was fantastic! The location was perfect, just a short distance away from all the main attractions in Moalboal. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, arranging all of our activities and even our airport transfers. The food at the hostel's restaurant was delicious. Now, I have to be honest about one thing. The photos of the bungalows didn't accurately represent the actual condition.

I highly recommend this hostel! Originally booked for 4 nights and extended our stay for another 2 nights as we didn't want to leave! The dorm and lounge area is great for meeting other travelers but you can totally chill out too if wanted. The bunks are super comfy and everything is spotlessly clean. The food and drinks were 10/10 but the staff are what make Maayong so brilliant, they couldn't have been more accommodating or friendly. Would recommend anyone traveling to stay here!
Can recommend this hotel.

The private bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and well-maintained. The location was great, with bars, restaurants, and the beach all within a short walk. The staff were friendly and attentive, and we were able to book tours and transportation through the hostel. The happy hour cocktails were also a bonus!
There was a major safety issue with our room. We were unable to lock the sliding door from the inside, so we had to come up with makeshift solutions to feel secure.

The hostel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. the common area was nice and it was easy to meet other guests and go on tours. the location was perfect, just a few minutes walk to the main attraction. I also enjoyed the delicious smoothie bowl they offered for breakfast.
The photos didn't accurately reflect the reality of the accommodation. the bungalow had a huge mold problem and the outdoor showers became wet when it rained.
